Auto-Lab of Troy

Auto lab has twice been the best experience I've ever had at an auto garage..The first time to get my brakes changed (and shocks after taking tires off/I have 70,000 miles) they took me without an appointment and PROVIDED a rental car for my convenience! Simple and fast! Today I had my car in for 2 "problems" which were not problems at all..They gave me a rental, checked my car, told me nothing was wrong and sent me home the next day without a single charge even having used the rental for 24 hours. This place is run by the owner who does the test drives and the actual work on cars..It's not a franchise..One location and personal care/service! Highly recommend with caution because I don't want them so busy that I can't get in quick and have the rental car! ;)

We experienced a last-minute issue with our car. The service manager was beyond polite and knowledgeable. The diagnosis was spot on the repair was very reasonable. If we need service again, we will be back and will be referring friends and family based on out positive experience. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Auto Lab of Troy. The service was excellent, and they got my car done faster than I expected, which was a huge plus. Everything was handled professionally, and now my car rides great again. You can really tell they know what they’re doing. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing reliable and efficient service.

Huge thank you to Auto Lab of Troy—Mark, Glenn, and the entire team—for always getting my car back up and running, no matter the issue. While repairs can sometimes be costly, they always do the job right the first time. I’ve never had to return for the same issue, but it’s reassuring to know they back their work with a warranty. Even if something goes wrong out of town, they provide a number to call and will direct you to a trusted shop in your area. In the past, I’ve taken my car to other shops only to have ongoing issues. But when I bring it to Auto Lab, the problem gets fixed—properly. They handle check engine lights so you’re not left worrying about what’s going on under the hood. I highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced here. Great team, quality work, and peace of mind every time.

I will always recommend Auto Lab of Troy to any friends and family in the area. Glenn was immensely helpful when I was in the market to purchase a new vehicle. I had him inspect two cars for me. He was patient and informative and went above and beyond to meet my needs for a reasonable price. His team’s turnaround time for the repairs blew me away. And I know that they are honest technicians too. The first car I looked had $3500 dollars worth of repairs and he advised me not to buy it even though that could have been $3500 of business for him. But in turn they now have a happy repeat customer. Thank you Glenn and team for fitting me in my newest vehicle.
